Meet Isabelle!
Isabelle is a New York based actor with a burning passion for the integration of DEI and artistry in the theater industry. Born on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, she was exposed to a wealth of theater from a young age. Unfortunately, due to the lack of diversity in her community, she never saw herself represented onstage. For this reason, Isabelle didn’t start performing till the late age of 14. From then on she became a passionate lover of musicals, Shakespeare, and standing up for what she believed in. Always an advocate, she began to campaign for inclusivity as a teenager to limit the lack of diversity that surrounded her. While in high school she was lucky enough to participate in school, community, and professional theater before starting her BFA in Musical Theatre at The Hartt School. As a freshman at Hartt, Isabelle helped found The Artists of Color Alliance which she served on through graduation. As President of the ACA, she handled matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion among faculty and students alike. Additionally, she organized performances, fundraisers, and monthly meetings in order to initiate important conversations amongst her community. This also led to her participation in the Dean’s Committee for Change where she was able to tackle these issues on a larger scale. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, she moved to New York City to continue the work. Since relocating to Harlem, she has continued to be a working actor across the country and still holds her advocacy work dear. Visit her resume to see where!
